It is rare these days to find a person who can say that they absolutely LOVE their job, and enjoy going to work every day. I have the opportunity every day to invest in the lives of college students. My job is more than just coordinating the student’s academic career. I am passionate about my students and love helping them navigate through their academic career, adjusting and transitioning to a new country, giving them tools to assist them in searching for internships and jobs, and just taking the time to sit and listen to them. I love networking and connecting them to people and resources, they will be able to use for the present and in the future. I am able to use my teaching background and my counseling degree every day with students.
