Monitor controlled drugs for 10 different Mercy hospitals in Oklahoma by doing audits. Make risk rounds at 5 Mercy hospitals and Pharmacy compliance rounds.

• Manage and train Pharmacy Technicians• Manage the scheduling• Optimize the Epic Pharmacy Administration Medication lists so that they are operable with Omnicell. Optimize pharmacy workflows and inventory to yield highest cost savings and patient safety.• Travel to other hospitals system-wide to train and help implement Omnicell.• Assist nursing and other hospital staff in controlling medication/supply distribution on hospital floors, emergency rooms and surgery areas. Worked with them to develop appropriate inventory levels, restocking procedures, and security measures in an effort to improve access to critical medications and improve patient care.• Attend Medication Safety Management meetings • Manage narcotic issues and wastes.
