• Serve as a primary resource and contact for the Revenue Cycle initiative working with top leaders to assist in creating reports that provide crucial information pertaining identified issues with revenue cycle. All requests must be treated as a high priority and as such, require quick turnaround as well as managing multiple competing projects for the team.• Participate in bi-weekly revenue cycle call with upper management and report consumers to discuss progress as well as define any new reporting needs identified.• Create custom reports for end-users based on the following Epic modules: HB, PB, HIM, ADT/Cadence.• Track and document all outstanding reporting requests assigned to me utilizing Clarity PPM.• Tests reports and reporting functionality in coordination with analysts/Application Coordinators to assure data quality prior to production.• Tests and verifies software releases, upgrades and any changes prior to the promotion of code to the production environment, currently preparing for Epic v2018 upgrade.• Meet with end-users to obtain a better understand of their reporting needs in order to develop specification to prepare specialized reports.• Identifies and validates the appropriate technological solution as well as delivery method for various reporting needs.• Utilize Crystal Reports as well as SQL to create reports for end-users. Created/will create extracts for the following vendors: EPSi, Comparion Medical Analytics (formerly Delta), Managed Care Professionals (MCP), BilAmerica, Hospital Industry Data Institute (HIDI), Pharmacy Healthcare Solutions (PHS), Precision Practice Management (PPM), LCD Atlas, and OptimumInsight (formerly Ingenix). Work with current permanent extract staff to assist in providing guidance and training relating to creating extracts. Provide detailed documentation pertaining to advanced skills relating to extract format editor. Work in conjunction with Epic vendor to investigate and program necessary functionality for extracts.
