Brenda Burr graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in English Education and Brigham Young University with an M. Ed in Educational Leadership and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her experience has taken her from the city life of Las Vegas to the Heartland in Oklahoma City, to the rural hills of the Missouri Ozarks, and currently to the Rocky Mountains of Utah, She taught high school English including AP Literature, AP Language, and Creative Writing for 10 years and middle school English for 5 years. She was the assistant principal at Salem Hills High School for four years and part of the team that opened that brand new high school. She was the principal at Sage Creek Elementary School which features a Chinese Immersion program. After five years as Diamond Fork Junior High School principal, she led the transition to Diamond Fork becoming a middle school, making her admin experience span K-12! She currently is an on-line adjunct instructor for Southern New Hampshire University and was an adjunct faculty member for Brigham Young University. She is a published author and has been a presenter for several professional organizations.
