With nearly 30 years of experience in secretarial and administration roles working at Management and Director level within the hospitality sector. Excellent organisational and communication skills combined with common sense and attention to detail ensures that things happen. Intuitive with software with the ability to grasp a majority of packages without formal training.Currently supporting both directors on several new and exciting projects.One of my main roles is the ongoing development of Swiftpage ACT from an out of the box product to one which is a better fit for our business. This has involved working closely with our IT support partners, Stonehouse Logic. With constant evaluation, evolution and customisation, we can now view our business from different angles.Other aspects of my working day include the original setting up of and using a new accounting package, making sure the team are trained and paid and maintaining the company procedures to optimise day to day functions and integration of all aspects of the business as well as supporting both directors with their workload.Out of work, I have discovered a love of keeping fit, especially running which has seen me enter numerous 5km, 10km and half marathon events. This allows me to indulge in my other passion which is food!
