As a mother of six children, Brenda Coatney has an accomplished career as a coffee-drinking aficionado. For the past 28 years, Brenda has raised her children not only spiritually but also scholastically, as she homeschooled each of them for the majority of their educational experience. Prior to beginning her career in motherhood, Brenda was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Amgen, one of the largest biotechnology companies in the world, where she earned accolades including 3-time sales representative of the year for the Tulsa division, and 7-time President’s Club honoree. Before Amgen, Brenda worked for Marion Labs (current-day Novartis) where she began her career in the pharmaceutical sales industry. A natural “people-person,” Brenda has spent time in positions within several media and public relations firms.A native of Claremore, OK, Brenda has spent most of her adult career in Tulsa, where she currently resides with her husband and six children. Brenda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, where she was also an active member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, holding various leadership roles leading young women.
