I am a PR/Communications/Marketing leader with extensive experience in media/public relations, brand development and execution, content creation, strategic planning, crisis management and social media. Things to know about me: I'm calm during chaos, can make tough decisions in a short time frame, and believe in bringing positivity to everything I do, whether in work or life. I will run hard with the pack, but stop us short from jumping off the cliff. Curiosity is what drives me, and if you stop learning, you may as well stop living. My top 5 Strength-Finders traits are: Empathy, Woo (woo hoo!), Consistency, Adaptability and Positivity. As a leader, I listen first, speak last (well, most of the time!), and I am smart enough to realize that I don't have all the answers. Mentoring is one of the most important things I can do in my professional and personal life. I have a great sense of humor, which I believe is a must in life and work (and I don't trust anyone who doesn't!). I like to brag about being from Kansas City and realize how lucky I am to live in such a fantastic community. I'm a single Mom of the best kid ever, fur parent to three cats; one a mighty mouse slayer, one a laid-back lover, and the third, the neighborhood socializer. The only think I like to collect is good friends!
