I have experience leading and managing a team through the many phases of a creative project. My skill set includes but is not limited to: magazine design, presentation design, editorial design, print management, digital design, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, adobe acrobat, managerial and supervisory skills, leadership, photography, photography styling and art direction, typography, management, brand design, marketing. I've worked for companies such as Meredith Corporation, Harris Publishing and Athlon Media leading teams of designers, photographers, writers and freelancers in the development and production of publications. For the past 7 years I have been the owner/creative director of my own company, Brenda Drake Lesch Design, creating national and regional print and digital magazines, newsletters, newspapers, brand assets, presentations, sell sheets, discovery sheets, magazine ads, banners and trade show products. I pride myself in my work ethic and exceptional collaboration skills with my team members. I push projects to be their very best and never stop trying to find better ways, better applications, better designs in both design and the processes that are in place behind the design. I've mentored many young designers throughout my career helping them become successful in this field.
