CurrentWorks in a Medical Oncology and Haematology / Palliative Ward.*Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement in compliance with ACQSHC National standards.*Administration of medications (S4 and S8) in different routes such as central venous lines, IV, IM, subcutaneous and oral. *Understanding of CVAD management and utilisation of CADD Solis Pump infusions and PCA infusions.*Making initial and ongoing patient assessments as patients proceed through their treatment plans.*Monitoring any side effects from patients' medication and treatment and referring them to oncologists for any severe or unusual issues for further assessment.*Analysing and understanding test results.*Providing support, education and information to patients and their families in simple language to help them understand treatment options.*Explaining possible side effects and how to manage them to patients and their families.*Creating specific care plans for patients, including organising relevant referrals for patients to other healthcare professions where required such as dieticians, social workers or speech and language pathologists.* Wound Care Management.
