Supported 42 branches specializing in Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy in their reimbursement efforts including a highly skilled task force deployed throughout the country to train staff or back fill open positions.Partnered with Contracting to develop policies and billing rules related to managed care contracts - creating a one stop shop for accessing comprehensive guidelines for more than 500 contracts in a decentralized reimbursement model. In collaboration with Training Manager redesigned Reimbursement Training & Development program that included centralized and local training in a group setting or one on one. Created and developed many effective educational tools and aids to assist reimbursement in related tasks including effective collection techniques. Delivered a 4 hour collection workshop in a classroom environment throughout the country. Assisted in the creation of a National Reimbursement Audit program to ensure staff used best practices and was compliant with both commercial and government payer policies.
