Servant Leader. Coach. Mentor. Advisor. Diplomat. Optimist. Life-Long Learner. In my executive leadership roles, I have lead teams in Fortune 500 corporations as well as small and medium privately owned businesses working alongside entrepreneur business owners, across Canada as well as in the United States. With P&L responsibility for revenues from $12M up to $150M overseeing teams of 40 up to 750, my roles included responsibility in Operations, Sales Forecasting and Planning, Talent Acquisition and Succession Planning, Training and Development, Wage and Compensation Plans, Performance Management, Brand Champion, Visual Merchandising, Product Allocation, Asset Protection, Customer Service , E-commerce, Project Management. The common theme throughout all of my success is driving results through helping people unleash their potential. My experience teaches me that people achieve greater success when they are open and honest about “the good, the bad, and the ugly”, are hungry to learn, are willing to explore diverse thoughts and ideas, learn to be change agile, and are willing to step out of their comfort zone. As a life- long learner, I am passionate about growing and challenging myself by encouraging others in their journey of life and business. I am currently forming a TEC Canada Small Business group whose members from non- competing industries will be part of a peer advisory group that meet in a confidential environment to solve problems, evaluate opportunities, and work on various strategic and operational issues. In addition, each member will benefit from one-to-one personal coaching, inspiring expert speakers, and access to over 25,000 business leaders locally, nationally and internationally through TEC Canada’s affiliation with Vistage Worldwide. As a TEC Canada Chair, my mission is to provide small business owners a forum to explore, learn and grow personally and professionally in order to increase their business/profits. When we come together we will challenge one another, provide diverse perspectives, share new ideas and hold each other accountable. While we are each unique in industry and background, we are aligned with common values and goals and believe that as a group we reap rewards that are tenfold to what each individual gives. “The challenge of leadership is to be strong but not rude; be kind but not weak; be bold but not a bully; be thoughtful but not lazy; be humble but not timid; be proud but not arrogant; have humour but without folly” Jim Rohn Entrepreneur, Author and Motivational Speaker.
