Youth Media Educator • Plan and facilitate core classes in field and studio production to youth participants through hands-on instruction• Assist in designing and writing curriculum, student manuals and other educational materials, that exhibit critical thinking skills, investigative skills, informed decision making, and the use of media technology• Develop workshops and media trainings in video, audio, publishing, content management, branding,interviewing, graphic design and advanced media productions• Oversee students through a full media production during, field production, pre-production and post-production stages• Assist in in-house productions generating and researching ideas for broadcasts, documentaries and fieldproductions

• Develop and implement weekly lessons plans for robotics for up to 120 Youth Students.• Develop activities that exhibit critical thinking skills, investigative skills, informed decision making, and the use of multiple technology processes.• Develop workshops in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEMS) area.• Monitor students through a full news production during, field production, pre-production and post-production stages.

o Co-Produce & Co-Host a daily live broadcast radio show for news, community journalism, entertainment, sports, New York lifestyle, parenting, and empowerment. o Host a 3-hour live morning radio show entirely in Spanish. o Record and assist with editing of weekly promos for daily shows. o Edit audio clips in a timely fashion. o Translate relevant English news for the target audience from Spanish-to-English—in a timely fashion.

o Serve as lead producer for field assignments. o Produce and present in depth content through multimedia formats – content that addresses contemporary human rights, social justice and cultural concerns relevant to young people in New York City. o Conduct research to prepare for and assist field production interviews.o See projects through pre-production, production and post-production phases.

o Manage assigned accounts and fulfill secretarial duties; day-to-day communications. o Create and review sales proposals for potential clients. o Design and maintain company’s website on Wordpress CMS. o Travel to areas throughout New York City to meet potential clients, drive sales for business opportunities, and follow up and secure new customers.
