From 1 September 2020 until 31 August 2023 I was a non executive director as appointed by President Ramaphosa on the Media Development and Diversity Agency. During this period, I was the Chairperson of the Corporate Affairs Committee and also served on the Research, capacity building and monitoring and evaluation committee.For the past six years I served on the Cape Peninsula University of Technology’s Journalism Advisory BoardFrom 2013 - 2015 I served on the Department of Communications ICT Policy Review committeeWhile at Bush Radio I also trained community radio stations across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland
