Motivated to find a better pediatric dental crown option after her son damaged his teeth, Hansen partnered with two dentists to spearhead the invention of the pediatric Zirconia crown, the EZCrown—an aesthetically superior, biocompatible pediatric dental crown. From this invention, the company EZPEDO (Sprig’s former brand name) was established. Before becoming Sprig’s CEO, Hansen was the Executive Director of EZPEDO where she ran the company’s operations, business development and strategic partnerships. Prior to her Executive Director role, Hansen built and managed a thriving cosmetic and restorative adult dental practice. Hansen is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurs and often shares her personal experience, insights and encouragement with business startups.
