I am a graduate of the University of New Haven with a degree in Criminal Justice, concentration in International Justice and Security and a minor in the Arabic language. I was part of the President's Public Service Fellowship during Summer 2017 where I worked with infants, toddlers and children ages 5 months to 5 years old in a preschool setting; I was later hired by the same organization to work as a Student-Teacher Assistant. My time as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line has trained me for high-risk scenarios and active rescue protocols and helped me develop excellent listening skills and empathetic capabilities
