I am an associate in the Human Development practice at Genesis Analytics. I hold a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics where I investigated the feasibility of using geographic information systems in a variety of industries, particularly disaster management and pedagogy about pre-colonial Africa.Since joining Genesis, I have worked on numerous social sectors financing projects, particularly with UNICEF, the World Bank, UNFPA and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. These include extensive work into early childhood education investment, public expenditure tracking of immunization and developing advocacy products for financing universal health care. Most notably, I work as a developer on the Human Development team, providing data-specific technical support and solutions. These include building databases, developing beautiful and interactive dashboards and conducting geospatial analysis, using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Mapbox, QGIS and Python.
