As part of a team I am working on a project for Takada, a pharmaceutical company that developed Entyvio, which is a drug that treats the symptoms of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. We guide doctors and patients through the maze that is our healthcare system to get approval from the patient’s insurance companies for this expensive therapy, improving quality of life for many people suffering from these diseases. We help with billing, coding and denied claims for the doctors and enroll patients in co-payment assistance programs. I enjoy being part of a team and am motivated to stay on task to meet deadlines so patients can get the treatment they need.
