My business strategy is rooted in the 3Is - integrity, innovation and impact. Negotiation and mediation of deals and disputes are key strengths as a lawyer. I know the limitations of an adversarial process. It is inconsistent with commercial common sense. Disputes which are resolved in a constructive, commercial and dignified manner for all parties and stakeholders save costs - financial, personal and emotional. I am particularly skilled at trend spotting, strategic planning and business development, which I combine with my passion for developing opportunities in the Circular 'Green' Economy. It provides opportunities for the creation of innovative and disruptive businesses. Businesses which contribute significantly to the creation of dignified employment and empowerment opportunities for all. I am passionate about recycling, food security, clean energy, agri-tech and creating carbon neutral businesses. These key high growth industries have unlimited income potentia and are sustainable and impactful. The recycling and conversion of various forms of waste to create useful and valuable products for a broad and diverse spectrum of sectors and applications is inevitably replacing traditional commodities. I am on a quest to integrate the circular economy into urban planning, particularly regeneration of cities.These are the roots of economic growth; we need to dig deep into the soil of success and sustainability.I am also a Slayer of Demons and Dragons. I slayed the Dragon of Breast Cancer and battled the Demon of Depression. Being a Slayer strengthened my mental resilience. I live life with an #attitudeofgratitude because I know that #tomorrowisneverpromised.Mental health is a chronic illness. We all need to work to stop the stigma. I work with clients to develop and promote the implementation of effective chronic illness policies in all workplaces. This aligns with my personal priority of embedding transformation and equality into organisational cultures. A positive and progressive workplace culture helps people achieve, and exceed, their personal and professional goals. It impacts the 'triple' bottom line - productivity, profit and people.The most effective process to embed transformation is mentoring people and making effective mentorship a management performance metric. My personal focus is on mentoring young women who are pioneers of prosperity in their families and communities.
