I was draw to study Precision Agriculture because of the rapidly progress technology in agriculture within the Canadian prairies. I want to be able to bring these technologies to all farms, from the small family farms to the large farms, I want to work to find a solution for technology integration for all levels of farmers.I have always had a passion for agriculture. Growing up on a farm in southern Alberta, I would also go out to the field for tractor rides after school. I would be on the farm whenever things where going on during the summer. As I got older it developed into a proper job which did involve working with some of the basic technology in ag. This experience over a few years made me realize that I wanted to help others utilize the available technology.In the Summer of 2023 I worked at Chin Ridge Seeds. A major part of this job involved scouting fields and monitoring crop progression throughout the growing season.
