I am a detail oriented and hardworking professional with an engineering background and 8 years of experience in technical aspects of engineering, project management, consulting, and sales. I am currently the Director of Engineering and Operations at DGEN and my leadership has allowed the company to flourish from a small startup with two contracts to upwards of fifty contracts annually. I have greater than 100 MW of experience in the Commercial and Industrial Solar Industry which contributes to my success in managing multi-year engineering and project management contracts with large companies, including UPS and McCormick. I have a strong technical skill set with excellent social skills and currently oversee all engineering deliverables and management of CAD professionals and project managers within DGEN. My professionalism in client relations as well as delegation amongst our team has contributed to DGEN’s growth with client retention with extended multi-year projects. My work involves working with utilities, federal and state governments, municipalities, educational institutions, commercial and industrial organizations. I am managing customers across the country including but not limited to the following states: California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York. I am passionate about creating lasting relationships and delivering valuable distributed generation projects for my customers. I hold a dual-degree in mechanical engineering and economics from the University of Notre Dame with several Deans List honors. I was a leader in my Senior Design Project in a successful “assisted painting device” to allow individuals with handicaps to partake in artwork. I led our team in design and creation of our device which was subsequently donated to a special needs daycare, highlighting my passion for philanthropy and leaving the world a better place. I was first drawn to solar engineering as a way to protect the environment as I had previously volunteered at Monterey Bay’s Aquarium which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of wildlife in an Earth faced with global warming.
