I am a third year student at Indiana University. I have a passion for collaborating with others, marketing and making a difference in my community. I have demonstrated these strengths in a variety of positions, beginning in high school with my position as Scituate High School Ice Hockey Captain and though the organization of events with the Scituate Food Pantry. In these leadership roles, I worked with my fellow student-athletes to help people in need and the less fortunate. By the end of my time as a leader, I led the ice hockey team to a state semi-final and set a foundation for charitable events for years to come in the future. Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities to expand my professional and personal leadership. I am broadening my career knowledge by enrolling in honors courses and doing Indiana University organizations and clubs. I was elected New Member Vice President at Beta Theta Pi and worked with other new members to build and maintain strong relationships among ourselves and others. Through classes at Indiana University, I have collaborated with my classmates on group projects and am also looking to find volunteer opportunities that may benefit my community. In the future, I look to find an internship in the business world that will lead me to new opportunities. Internships bring me a new environment to learn from and mentors to network with. I seek to find opportunities that will help me strengthen and broaden my strong skills while also building new ones. I believe networking is important and I look to networking with many. I see myself creating a business of some sort that innovates a market.
