The 10,000 volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible, deliver 2 million meals a year across Queensland, to more than 15,000 people with a wide variety of support needs, not just meals for seniors.My role at Meals on Wheels includes: • Assisting with major restructuring project of Meals on Wheels services (transition from an individual service-based model to a ‘hub and spoke’ business model with shared services); • Oversee and assist in amalgamation activities of certain Meals on Wheels services; • Oversee and undertake the orderly wind-up of certain underperforming Meals on Wheels services; • Provide financial management, operational and field support to a number of Meals on Wheels operations across various aged care planning regions in QLD; and • Manage, oversee and undertake financial and business-related activities of head office.
