My practice prides itself on treating a wide variety of clientele. Although I have particular experience working with children, adolescents and young adults, I also treat couples, families, and specific groups. My approach is a contemporary psychodynamic perspective, which applies traditional analytic concepts in a flexible and realistic manner. The goal of all treatment is to promote independence, and not simply independence from symptom relief, which is only a temporary solution. Independence from the more systemic, core conflicts that restrict the patient from healthy and enjoyable living becomes the ultimate objective of treatment.
