While working in the Performance and Reliability Engineering Team, Brendan conducted various projects, including a process review of controllable losses calculations throughout the plant. He also reviewed and marked up P&IDs and created unit display and instrumentation screens on OSI PI. Through this process, adjustments and additions were made to the Asset framework in the PI system explorer.Brendan performed calculations to assess equipment effectiveness, considering factors like availability, performance, and material quality in specific plant sections. Additionally, he contributed to condenser performance analysis by graphing data related to leakage and chemical levels. This data was used to determine maintenance priorities, reducing regular maintenance, minimising equipment downtime, and resulting in cost savings and increased operational efficiency.
