Growing up in England, Brendan realised at a very young age that he wasn’t suited for a traditional 9-5 office job and that one day he would venture out on his own. After finishing highschool he started working for a family friend renovating an old barn into a luxury home.It was during this time that he discovered his passion for carpentry. There was something special about being outdoors and working with his hands that he really liked.Brendan then spent the next few years completing his carpentry apprenticeship before migrating to Australia where he was sponsored by a local builder, Garay Constructions.During this time Brendan had the opportunity to work on a lot of job sites, many of them high end builds around the city. Nearing the end of his sponsorship he felt that he had gained enough experience and knowledge necessary to finally venture out on his own. That’s when he launched BD Building Management in 2010, working with some of Sydney’s top builders as both a carpenter and a foreman. When the construction industry in Sydney started to boom, Brendan seized the opportunity to expand the business building a team around him to take on bigger jobs. Close to a decade later, today BD Building Management has worked with hundreds of clients across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and New Zealand. Some of these projects include the Elizabeth May Marina, Joyton Ave Creative Centre, and the East Garden Library. With the help of their in-depth and unique hiring process, Brendan and his team are able to consistently provide passionate carpenters with unrivalled qualifications and experience to builders nationwide. To learn how BD Building Management can help you with your next project go to www.bdbuilding.com.au, or send Brendan a message on LinkedIn.
