Brent Gresham is a seasoned hospitality industry professional with over two decades of experience in the leadership and development of luxury resorts, hotels, and private clubs. Many of these properties have been honored with prestigious distinctions, including Forbes Five Star ratings, membership in Relais & Châteaux, and the highest travel awards from Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler. His significant contributions to the industry have been recognized by various organizations, as evidenced by his designation as "Hotelier of the Year" from The Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association, as well as being honored as "General Manager of the Year" by both the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association and Charlestowne Hotels Management. Furthermore, he was named among the "Top Thirty Under 30 in the US" by Hotel Management Magazine.Brent has earned multiple degrees in hospitality management from the University of South Carolina and École hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. His commitment to the industry is evident in his continued engagement with students at his alma mater and other hospitality institutions through guest lectures and hosting site visits to properties, providing students with valuable exposure to the diverse and enriching facets of the industry. As a native of the rural Lowcountry, he is a passionate advocate for nature conservation and historic preservation, actively participating in wildlife habitat management at his historic farm located outside of Charleston, South Carolina. His affinity for the outdoors is paralleled only by his dedication to his family.
