I worked on the team tasked with the serial production of the RFA Helix engines. This has exposed me to assembly and handling procedures, the development of manuals, work coordination with technicians, the development of processes to take parts from raw material to finished engines, and design considerations for harsh conditions experienced by aerospace launch vehicles. I also worked with technicians to develop assembly jigs and flight hardware to ensure accuracy and functionality of flight hardware for the Helix engines.

I worked with the propulsion team in the beginnings of developing a hybrid rocket engine for the team's sounding rocket that flies at the Spaceport America Cup Rocketry Competition. I worked to develop the propulsion systems, developing the system flow diagrams, operation parameters, and requirements for components and systems.

I organized the team of engineering students to perform the goal of designing, building, and flying a high power rocket for the 2021 Spaceport America Cup and Launch Canada Rocketry Competitions. I manage a set of subteams, assuring their specific needs are met such that they can properly design their respective rocket components.

I worked with the president of the team to help organize and manage the team. I met with individual subteam leads to assure they were provided all the resources they required to succeed with their individual development programs. I assisted with the team's applications and report submissions to the Spaceport America Cup. I finally assisted with the handling of the team's finances, assuring that each subteam does not run over budget and properly communicates their individual budget requests to the administrative team so they could be submitted to the school's student equipment fund.

I worked to coordinate and lead the team of undergraduate students to the goal of designing our team's first hybrid rocket motor. I scheduled and held meetings within the subteam, managed finances and purchases for the subteam, and spearheaded the development of the nitrous oxide - paraffin wax rocket motor. I assisted with the development of the wax fuel grains, nitrous oxide system, nitrous oxide injection system, and nitrous oxide tank. I effectively communicated design requirements with the team members, allowing them to properly design each element of the propulsion system to meet safety requirements and performance requirements.
