Directing the planning and implementation of Bowens IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and long term business goals.Managing, coaching and developing a small team of IT professionals who look after the IT infrastructure and systems for the Bowens Support Office and a branch network of 16 stores across Victoria.Some of the responsibilities and duties include:• Developing and continuously reviewing an appropriate IT structure to ensure that it supports the strategic objectives of the business and evolves appropriately over time.• Producing an annual IT plan and budget that is aligned to business objectives• Co-ordinate the introduction of new technology, ensuring that there is sufficient network capacity and resources to handle any new systems.• Managing relationships with external bodies, such as suppliers, to ensure the best possible service and outcome for the business• Overseeing ERP system development and support.• Overseeing the IT Help Desk function to ensure that service calls are handled in a timely and efficient manner.• Serving as a point of escalation for problematic Level 3 Help Desk calls.• Ensuring the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information within Bowens.• Developing and maintaining a business recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of data and IT services in the event of a disaster.• Developing a strong and trusting relationship within the business by working closely with Support Office and the branches to understand their needs and challenges.

Responsible for reviewing, implementing and managing all aspects of IT including strategy, budgeting, support arrangements, inventory, contracts, billing & infrastructure, running a small data centre and managing requirements of a company with multiple sites.
