I created genetic constructs and clones, worked on primer creation and genetic screens, and carried out PCR. I worked with Yeast two-hybrid assays and created Bimolecular Fluorescent Complementation constructs, transformed them into Agrobacterium and spent two years examining them with confocal microscopes (LSM 710, LSM 980, Leica Stellaris). I have good bench skills and a strong background in working independently and with others. As there was no lab manager during my time at this lab, and I was mostly alone in the lab, I also have developed many of the skills necessary for Lab Management, inventory regulation, and organization.
