I spent four years working in a cell and molecular biology lab at SFSU while obtaining my Master's. I worked with Yeast two-hybrid assays and created Bimolecular Fluorescent Complementation constructs, transformed them into Agrobacterium and spent two years examining them with confocal microscopes (LSM 710, LSM 980, Leica Stellaris). I have good bench skills and a strong background in working independently and with others. As there was no lab manager during my time at this lab, and I was mostly alone in the lab, I also have developed many of the skills necessary for Lab Management, inventory regulation, and organization. Worked as a bartender at all four of the successful "Thieves bars" in multiple neighborhoods of San Francisco. Trained many bartenders on all facets of running a business and working in a bar. Pulled an unconscious woman out the burning wreckage of a vehicle. Normal bar stuff.

Worked as the general manager for a bar, restaurant, and ski lodge on slope in Taos Ski Valley for a winter season between moving from New York to San Francisco. Successfully managed a team or 15 employees and kept the business running and profitable.

Founded a start-up hospitality company, spent 2+ years working on opening a Bar and Hostel. Gained knowledge of many elements of the industry and every aspect of planning a successful business. Worked extensively on cocktail creation and mixology, garnering the interest of high-end liquor companies (Patrón and Absolut).
