Reach for the stars is a student-built networking event that aims to help fellow Communications, Journalism, and PR students and professionals connect and network about the communications industry. Primary responsibilities include researching for places of the event, looking for volunteers, locking down dates, time, and location, and collaborating with SAMU.

Main responsibilties were copyediting, writing social media captions, research, and photography. The communications team at ECSD taught me how to communicate concisely and effectively to their target audience.

Primary responsibilities include taking orders in front and drive-thru, bagging and checking the correct order of the guests, ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant, and providing guests a quality customer service.

Checked the number of guest who came in to see the exhibits in the gallery. I walked the guests through the exhibition and answered their questions about the displayed arts in the gallery.

Interviewed a director and a special effects makeup artist in Alberta about their experiences in the film industry and wrote their insights and stories about what it is like working behind the scenes.
