The Home Energy Market Value Performance Pilot (Home MVP) is working with a select group of home improvement contractors to provide incentives for comprehensive home energy improvements in 1-4 unit buildings. Experienced contractors will offer home improvements tailored to the needs of your home to improve comfort and home value while also reducing energy use and achieving significant bill savings. The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources is supporting this approach based on the complementary goals of reducing energy, increasing economic and health benefits, and helping Massachusetts achieve its climate goals by reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with homes.

Managing single- and multi-family residential projects encompassing over 1,000 residential units seeking Green Building and Compliance certifications: developing proposals, performing architectural plan review, supporting project design teams, performing site testing and inspections, producing reports, administering budgets for multiple projects, and compiling certification documentation. HERS Rater, LEED for Homes Green Rater, and Thermographer Level I- Working with architects and builders to construct high performance homes. - Reviewing plans and specs to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability are maximized in design phase. - Blower door and Duct blaster testing to verify compliance with the current MA building code. -- Working with local builders and HVAC professionals to achieve energy code compliance. - Conducting Blower door testing on large buildings to verify compliance with ASTM E779, ASTM E1827, Army Corps of Engineers and builder performance specifications.

Supported head coach Mandy Hixon with the divers from both the men's and women's UMASS swim and dive teams. Tasks ranged from running practices and meets to film breakdown and analysis.

Supported a team of certified HERS raters in generating and verifying energy models in order to demonstrate compliance with the Massachusetts Stretch Energy Code and utility funded incentive programs. Tasks ranged from project intake and plans analysis to insulation inspections and blower door and duct tightness testing.
