I work in the group of Tobin Marks to design chemical surface modifications that improve the performance of two-dimensional materials in thin-film electronic devices. This research involves interdisciplinary collaborations between chemistry, physics, and materials science. I also act as a lab safety officer, where I create training materials and monitor workplace practices in a synthetic chemistry lab to eliminate hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

I teach lecture and lab courses in chemistry for undergraduate and graduate levels. I design exams and assignments, train new teaching assistants, and organize active learning sessions to communicate advanced chemistry topics to students.

I worked in the group of Sarah Stoll to develop hybrid nanoparticles as MRI contrast agents and later investigated the growth of organic nanoparticles in the group of Nagarjuna Gavvalapall. These experiences involved the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and organic small molecules.
