In 2013 I am managing a business Intelligence program focusing on upgrade and implementation of critical systems working with Teradata and Oracle. The projects are interdependent and need to be managed tightly against the schedule and cost’s as delays or issues in one project have impacts to upstream and downstream projects. These projects involve working with specialist vendor’s Teradata and Oracle to implement. 1. Teradata system Upgrade to 13.10 and migration to new Teradata System:(3 system upgrade to Datawarehouse V13.10, data migration from production system to new hardware and 3 year capacity2. Teradata “Big Data” system commission – 1st implementation in Australia. Commission of new Big data Aster and Hadoop systems to Integrate into Vodafone LTE (4G) network. This system will provide analysis data to all parts of VHA for strategic growth and reporting.3. BI Exalytics upgrade: implement a new custom Exalytics solution for Hyperion reporting4. Datacenter Lift and shift program: management of BI systems being relocated from one datacenter to a new one due to a change in datacenter strategic planning5. SAN Migration project: On-Line migration off BI systems from legacy storage to new storage.WBI to Fusion program Infrastructure and network component delivery to the WBI Program. The fusion application was replacing 3 existing middleware environments, budget for the program was $7.5mil for 2012/2013 . Storage expansion and migration program ~$3 milThis resulted in 17 new storage systems commissioned and then subsequent storage migrations for 70 servers to the new storage and decomission of legacy storage systems.Key Vendors were : PGS, HP, Tech Mahindra, Hitachi Data systems and quantumBRM migration to Raw database conversion oject was implemented as a tactical solution which was designed and implemented in 3 months to convert the primary billing database from cooked to Raw format
