I helped start up a Club Baseball team at the end of the Spring 2013 semester. By the Fall 2013 semester, we had an approximate 50 participants. As one of the assistant coaches, I worked on the fundamentals of hitting, catching, and outfielding. Certain techniques I picked up from various professional players I have come across while interning with the Wilmington Blue Rocks for two years.

I assisted the main clubhouse manager on the day-to-day operations of the visitor's clubhouse. During-Game Tasks:-Cleaning: -Laundry: Visiting team (personals, uniforms, staff shirts, towels, etc…) -Visiting Clubhouse- Pick up coaches room (trash, food etc…), pick up garbage, pick up training room, cleaning crew will vacuum and dump garbage cans. -Equipment: -Issue all necessary equipment to players and coaches. -Get umpires 4 to 5 dozen game balls w/ bag. -Help set-up and breakdown BP equipment. -Fill water coolers for both sides -Set out pine tar rag, mota sticks, bat weights, rosin bags. -Customer Service: -All visiting coaching staff/trainers/Strength coaches (post game food, cooler w/drinks, beer, whatever they want if feasible, towels) -All umpires (pre-game beverages, post game food, towels, and ticket requests, whatever they need) -All players’ ticket requests/Pre BP PBJ & Fruit spread (Turn pass list in when gates open) -All visiting personnel (Roving instructors, Coordinators) whatever they want that is feasible. -All requests from Blue Rocks front office personnel. -All entertainment acts (make sure they have everything they need) -Assist in player appearances, camps, radio media requests, and players’ family requests (tickets, lodging) Post Game Duties-General cleaning of home clubhouse bathroom, lounge, coaches’ office, training area and the back room -Take all coaches, umpires and trainers their food that they requested for their post game meal -Collect all trash from all rooms and dispose of it properly -Laundry from both teams, umpires, and day-of-game staff -Laundry put away for both teams, umpires, and staff -Equipment pick-up and storage-Any other request made by front office personnel

For the All Star Week of 2013, I was a volunteer at the "T-Mobile All Star FanFest", held at the Javits Center. During the week, I provided customer service and enhanced the Fanfest experience for the incoming visitors. Areas I worked in included: Chevrolet HomeRun Derby, Sony Entertainment Center, and Guest Services.

Won the Brown Jug award in two straight camporees. The Brown Jug award is given to the best Troop who demonstrated the most enthusiasm, professionalism, organized campsite, proper time management to all meetings, and best demonstration of Scout spirit.
