This position is half management position and half research position. As lab manager I placed and tracked all orders, managed all equipment and lab upkeep, and made sure all laboratory operations were proceeding smoothly. Additionally, I was responsible for a research project with my remaining time. My project involved profiling microbiome changes in response to different diet types. Our findings were published in 2017 in a paper I co-authored: "The effect of antibiotics and diet on enterolactone concentration and metabolome studied by targeted and non-targeted LC-MS metabolomics."
