Within this department we are responsible for testing new releases of our software as well as giving guidance and ideas on new concepts. We offer different level support packages to our internal businesses, which cover on how to use our software packages within a project and also services to monitor the project through its life cycle. Another aspect of this support is to be able to create and deliver training courses on our software platforms. Another aspect of this role is that we offer a very comprehensive support called issue resolution to our businesses that resolve any issues a business may have with the software during a project or a finished completed running site. Worked mainly in Control Logix and Wonderware products. Worked on various aspects of the projects, from electrical design, software design and commissioning. Last couple of projects were large projects and were utilising the Wonderware InBatch system.

Working on projects in the Milk, Juice and prepared food industries.

Started off as a maintenance engineer, looking after the dairy, mainly the computer system. After a couple of years helped develop and install a new control system with an external company and build the sites product portfollio.

I started on the Drawing board, producing process layouts on film, then when we had installed a CAD station moving onto Autocad and producing drawings on the computer. Also then creating all electrical drawings and IO lists on the computer and then moving onto panel building and commissioning process installations.
