With years of experience in structural restoration and general carpentry, I worked hard to understand the building science of residential construction. Repetition and consistent learning drives my ability to grow professionally and personally. After building confidence in my abilities as a carpenter it was time to learn the business. I started McKellar Construction in February of 2022. I set out to understand the core of the industry and why contractors get a bad name. The horror stories always came down to one thing. Miscommunication. We as contractors fail to communicate in order to understand what is truly important to the client. We fail to explain our process thoroughly. And we fail to set a clear expectation.We have 2 main goals as a company. The first is to deliver an outstanding product and customer experience to our clients. The second is to grow our connection with other contractors to learn how to bring respect back to our industry.Lets win together.
