I have been an Investment Advisor since 1995. I joined National Bank Financial in 2012 through NBF’s acquisition of HSBC Securities. Starting in the investment industry in 1995, I believe that investing on behalf of clients in some very difficult markets has given me very valuable insight into the importance of risk management. I use this knowledge everyday on behalf of my clients.My number one focus is helping my clients to use their wealth to create positive outcomes in their lives. I believe that this is a very personal choice and means something different to each client but in the end, what good is money if you don't use it to make yourself and your loved ones happy?A huge part of my job is behavioral coaching. When I started in the business over 25 years ago, I was a provider of information. Today, I am a filter of it. March 2020 was a difficult time for many investors and I was very proud of the role I played in keeping my clients from panicking. It's easy to make recommendations when times are normal, but keeping my clients from losing their heads when everyone else is is a very important and often underappreciated part of my job. I specialize in financial planning, tax minimization, family protection and legacy planning. I care deeply for my clients well being and really love my job. I am aware of the responsibility and trust that my clients place in me and I take it very seriously. I have developed close friendships with many of my clients and treat them like family. Although some of the periods in the last 25+ years have given me some gray hairs, there is nothing I would rather do. Helping people reach their financial and personal goals is incredibly rewarding but the single best part of my job is helping my clients use their money to create positive outcomes in their lives. Married with two daughters I am very active in their lives. I enjoy travelling and I look forward to introducing the wonders of the world to my children. I believe that I have received many blessings in my life and it is important to share them with others.
