Project management of a US$10 million installation of a boxed fibre process at the Tambrands plant in Havant, England. This involved the design, planning and resource management of more than forty civil, HVAC and electrical sub-contractors together with design and commissioning engineers. Due to a tight installation schedule, a very structured approach to project management was required. The project was executed under the stringent health and safety requirements of CDM and was completed on time and within budget. On completion of the installation and commissioning phases, I was actively involved in the qualification and validation of the new fibre production process to FDA standards.
