I am a postgraduate student studying part-time psychological science honours at La Trobe University in 2024. I enjoyed my undergraduate studies as I love to learn and am a dedicated student graduating my bachelor of psychological science with an A. I am eager to enter the workforce of my field and begin applying the skills I have worked hard to build throughout my studies. I am also excited to learn valuable new skills through employment. I am an adaptable person who is comfortable in a variety of work settings and have a versatile skill set. Most of all, I want to start making meaningful contributions to my community and field and feel uniquely equipped to do so. My ultimate career goal is to do something that matters. Not because I want to be recognised and commended for it but because I want the sum of my career to add up to something more than just myself.

  My employment at Woolworths has been a great part-time job while studying so that I can financially support myself during this time. I spent my first four years with the company in the butcher department as a part of a small team where I developed many important interpersonal skills, food handling skills and most of all meaningful relationships with staff and customers. following the nation-wide closure of Woolworths butchers shops I moved into the night-fill (grocery) department where I am now part of a much larger team. The higher pay associated with the night-fill role has allowed me to continue supporting myself while also not getting in the way of my studies as I can work less hours. Overall, while I have greatly enjoyed my time at Woolworths and the relationships that came with it, I wish to pursue a job where I feel that the work I do is uniquely meaningful and helps mould my person to better suit my industry.
