CurrentManages content and information on the ICB website. Works closely with web developer to maintain current and modern website platform that meets UCSB and ADA standards. Reviews, reorganizes, rewrites, and edits more than 60, 10 page scientific project submissions received from 60 different teams of faculty and researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) to the Institute for Collaborative Biotechnologies (ICB) for its Annual Report to the U.S. Army. Submissions span a wide variety of disciplines: Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Physics, Psychology, Materials, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Computer Science and Control & Dynamical Systems. Verifies that all submissions meet U.S. Army requirements.Manipulates and adjusts scientific illustrations, photographs, and other graphics embedded within the scientific articles and papers by the original authors using a variety of styles and techniques into a consistent, standard format. Converts references submitted by authors in a variety of formats into standard APA formatting. Ensures headers, footers, and footnoting is consistent among documents. Drawing from the content of each report, produces comprehensive, cross-referenced listings of over 400 publications, honors and awards, patent filings and invention disclosures.Generates electronic copies of fully-edited reports for submission to the U. S. Army for review by Subject Matter Experts within three weeks of faculty submission deadline. Generates final copy for printing of 600 page bound ICB Annual Report for distribution to the U.S. Army and ICB Industrial Partners within six weeks of draft report submissions.
