As a recent graduate of the University of Arizona in both Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical engineering, I bring years of real-world problem solving, programming, and collaborative skills to the workforce. Along with an ongoing commitment to Tucson’s youth through my involvement with The First Tee of Tucson, I also bring creativity and commitment as demonstrated with the following completed projects.Senior Design Team, Door Lock Controls for Armless Pilot Created an automatic airplane door with locking controls for an armless pilot. Utilized 3D modeling, simulations, and Finite Element Analysis successfully complete this project.Designed Gas Turbine CycleDeveloped a gas turbine cycle that produces work through a turbine. Successfully completed calculations to represent the combustion process given the required heat intake for the projects’ cycle to a high accuracy rate.C Coding ProjectDesigned and programed a unique card game coded in C that allowed a user to play a variation of Blackjack.Engineered a Windshield Wiper System Analyzed and redesigned a windshield wiper system for a Honda CRV. The numerical method used was the fsolve function in MATLAB.Saguaro AUV Club Mechanical Team Designed and built the mechanical structure of an underwater autonomous vehicle using SolidWorks.
