Day to day activities included updating software and deploying new computers as well as maintaining and protecting current IT infrastructure. Served under the Director of Engineering for five different radio stations (WLBC-FM, WERK, WMXQ, WHBU, and WBKQ) on eight different radio frequencies. Assisted in the transfer of WLBC-FM from analog FM to digital FM, resulting in the introduction of the first high-definition station in East-Central Indiana. Completed both the installation of an eight camera security system in company headquarters with my own staff and a four-camera installation done independently, protecting hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment. Manufactured the patch cable and assisted in making firewall modifications to bring on-air the world’s first southern Baptist Christian radio station in high definition. Assisted in the disaster recovery process following a major flood to protect equipment and to mitigate the effects of water damage. Assisted in the assembly, installation, and aiming of two 12ft satellite dishes to increase listening and loudness quality across many of our post popular programs.
