I am the Senior Commerce Director at Business Inder having joined the company in early 2023. More details to follow soon.I was previously the eCommerce Content Director for Future's Mobile Technology Vertical, which includes three websites; Android Central, Windows Central, and iMore. Responsible and accountable for the eCommerce strategy of these sites, my role includes the broader planning of the direction of a wide range of content such as evergreen buying guides and deal pages, spotlight deal news, reviews, various high-yield categories, and more. Planning ahead for in-demand/high-ticket preorder items and peak trading events like Black Friday or Labor Day sales is also a key part of my role. I'm fascinated with SEO and Google's ever-evolving algorithms and always looking for how best to adapt, protect, and enhance our articles. I endeavor to train and energize teams toward improving rankings and strong on-page engagement through higher click-through rates via reliably trustworthy and informative content.Previous to this role, my career at Future originally began in 2016 after spending previous years working as a games journalist and writing deals news. Then I joined TechRadar, initially as the Future's first-ever Deals Staff Writer, before being promoted to Deals Editor a year later. I managed a small team and wrote, commissioned, and maintained a vast collection of eCommerce content. In 2020 I joined another Future website, GamesRadar, as Managing Editor of the Hardware and eCommerce team to take charge of the site's eCommerce strategy, hardware reviews, and buying guides. In late 2021 I was promoted to my current role as eCommerce Content Director for Future's Mobile Technology Vertical group.
