I am an aspiring Earth Scientist with a passion for understanding the natural environment and exploring ways to contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable world. My interest in geosciences is driven by a desire to gain a deeper understanding of Earth's systems and how human activities interact with the environments we inhabit. I am a Junior at the University of Arkansas, pursuing a bachelor of science in Earth Science with minors in Geology and Outdoor Leadership. This combination allows me not only to gain technical expertise in Earth Sciences but also to enhance my leadership skills, particularly in backcountry and field environments. Upon graduation in Spring 2026, I plan to further my education by pursuing a master's degree in cave research, a field that aligns with my long-term career goals.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am an active member of Sigma Gamma Epsilon, a national honor society for the geosciences. I am also involved with the Boston Mountain Grotto chapter of the National Speleological Society, where I participate in caving expeditions and learn advanced techniques. These experiences allow me to apply my knowledge in practical settings while developing leadership and teamwork skills.Outside of academics, I have a deep love for the outdoors. Activities like backpacking and rock climbing provide me with physical challenges and opportunities to connect with the natural world.
