At Wellington Management, I lead global relationships with the two largest consulting firms worldwide, with combined assets under advisement of more than $20 trillion. Collaborating with teams in the US, Canada, EMEA, and Australia, I focus on developing relationships with key contacts across all facets of these organizations, including research, asset allocation, OCIO, senior leadership, channel leaders, and consulting teams. My role involves supporting the ongoing due diligence needs for our existing ratings, introducing new strategies across our equity, fixed income, and alternatives platforms, servicing our shared client relationships, and collaborating on new business opportunities. My promotion to Managing Director reflects the impact I have made in leading these strategic relationships, including significant increases in activity, new business opportunities, and shared client mandates.

I joined Wellington with the mission to expand the company’s business in the mid-market defined contribution and defined benefit arena. My responsibilities included coverage of a large territory in the Midwest with a focus on building relationships with mid-market, DC-focused consulting firms, direct calling on corporate DC/DB plan sponsors, and targeted engagement with field consultants for large market consulting firms. My success in this role led to my promotion to Consultant Relations Manager, for our largest global consultant firm client.

At Eaton Vance’s largest affiliate, Parametric, my efforts focused on growing the client base for the firm’s equity, alternative and derivative implementation capabilities in the Northeastern United States and Canada. This work included direct calling efforts on foundations, endowments, and corporate and public retirement plan clients.

Promoted to Vice President after two years as an Assistant Vice President for the same group, my key responsibilities centered on identifying and building relationships with research analysts at U.S. and Canadian retirement consulting, asset management, and insurance firms. My pursuit of new opportunities led to an increase in business, including penetration of a new market in Canada, where I initiated active discussions with a cross-section of the largest financial services firms in that country.

In this business development role, I served as a liaison for some of the firm’s largest clients. I delivered training presentations to clients’ sales teams and assisted with nationwide investor events. While working closely with clients, I obtained insights that were instrumental to the sales team in generating new mandates for improved performance.
