He has consistently driven vision, created value, and optimized returns.LEADERSHIP IN ACTION:• Successfully managed an elite portfolio of commercial properties in the Southern California market for Equity Office, a Blackstone portfolio company; leased to premiere companies such as Sony, Fox, Hulu, Snap, Morgan Stanley, Bain, Sidley Austin, UBS, Disney, UKG, Riot Games and Wells Fargo.• Identified industry and economic drivers narrowing a complex LA market into a strategic investment zone of media driven submarkets including Burbank, Hollywood, and Culver City, known as the “Content Corridor” - ultimately supporting Blackstone’s purchase of 49% of Hudson Pacific’s Hollywood Media Portfolio. • Rebranded Costa Mesa’s CANVAS with a $13m redesign of a five-building complex led by a vision to embrace the local culture experience that showcased artwork from 13 different artists, along with other renovations leading to a 10% increase in occupancy and rental revenue during Covid years. Introduced EQ Flex coworking product expanding the offering platform. Successfully sold in 2023. • Negotiated and leased 44% of Santa Monica Business Park to Snap Inc., one of the largest leases ever recorded in West LA, leading to the lucrative disposition twelve months later. • Permitted the retrofit and redesign of West LA’s 9911 Pico, 220k rsf becoming the first building to meet the City of Los Angeles’ newly implemented seismic ordinance. Successfully sold in 2023 to an alternative-use buyer. • Repositioned VKCC, Playa District, Griffin Towers with renovation projects to align properties with particular vision to drive demand with premier amenities, high end spec suites, and a purposeful experience. Each asset realized a 10-15% growth in both rental value and leasing occupancy. Both VKCC and Griffin Towers sold in 2023.
