I project manage the delivery of advisory services to public and private sector clients across a range of sectors including Innovation, Digitalisation and Transport within EU 27 member states. This involves combining the expertise of EIB colleagues often supplemented by external consultants to strengthen a promoters application for financing to support large scale investment programmes - typically €50m+. This work help to fast-track investment programmes and delivers economic benefits and jobs at a regional, national and EU level.

I manage and co-ordinate a wide range of assignments with private and public sector promoters to help them develop and implement their projects. This involves advising them on 1) financial and/or technical areas that need to be strengthened 2) content and presentation to financial institutions; and 3) potential sources of finance. In addition I manage the process to undertake market assessment studies on various challenges related to provision of finance and knowledge to support economic development in Europe.

A secondee to the European Investment Bank(EIB) as part of a Government Programme. The EIB provides finance and advisory services for sound and sustainable investment projects which make a significant contribution to growth and employment in Europe.More recently the EIB established the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and the European Investment Advisory Hub. These initiatives are designed to significantly increase the level of funding available, coupled with an expanded advisory capacity, to support sustainable investment and job creation across Europe. I lead a team that engages with public and private sector stakeholders across the business environment in Ireland, developing and advocating strategic policy initiatives that respond to the changing needs of our clients and makes Ireland a more attractive place for Foreign Direct Investment(FDI). Developed and directed IDA’s Corporate Strategy, Planning and Influencing Agenda with Stakeholders, State Agencies, Government Departments and Ministers.
