I also planned and executed our move to a cloud-hosted VoIP telephone system and call center. To improve internal business systems, I rolled out SSO via AzureAD, internalized and stabilized existing vendor-managed IT, and transitioned the support team to Zendesk.

I managed a seven-year 50% participant growth for this national nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging young adults in addressing the affordable housing crisis in the U.S. Every year, I hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 32 young adults to lead cross-country cycling trips to raise money and awareness for the cause. I helped them develop leadership skills, plan the logistics of their trips, and manage team dynamics while on the road.I expanded the organization’s programming and improved operations, resulting in an increase in average yearly donations by more than $300,000. My responsibilities included cultivating and managing relationships and agreements with key partners, sponsors, and vendorsMy success was a result of implementing new technologies to streamline tasks, increase productivity, and encourage sustainability — while reducing overhead costs. I also led the migration to a paperless workflow through better web tools, online donation integration, and custom web-based application systems for both participants and grant applicants. I also integrated popular social media tools to raise awareness of the organization and connect with constituents.

I provided website support for this organization, which is a leader in affordable housing and community development, creating opportunities for lower-income people to live in affordable homes in safe, sustainable neighborhoods.

This role started as an internship in college and became an on-going position over the next several years. The company offers full-service digital photography and video editing services in the Philadelphia area. One of my biggest contributions was creating a system to automate the way clients proofed and ordered their images. I also built and maintained all workstations/servers and handled IT needs, in addition to doing web design and production both internally and for clients.

Weekdays were for tutoring at-risk students and weekends were devoted to doing service work with the kids.
