• (Acoustic is a new global company, created from an IBM business unit, that provides marketing software, services and support. I was asked by former colleagues to provide project management support to Acoustic during.
• Developed comprehensive plans for the set-up of the new company across 20 countries
• Collaborated with global and local leaders to expand and implement the plans.
• Drove the selection and contracting for offices in 10 countries.
• Managed the contracting, timetable and budget for the fit-out of the international headquarters in London.

Europe

• Led the implementation of Workday’s cloud-based HR solution for IBM’s employees across 22 countries in Europe, to replace standalone legacy HR systems.
• Liaised with the HR leadership in each country to secure local resourcing and keep the HR teams apprised of progress and key challenges.
• Worked with the solutioning and local teams to design the best fit for country-specific requirements while retaining the concept of a global template.
• Guided the Digital Change teams on the priorities and pain points for each country.

Dublin

• Led and supported a wide variety of global projects involving the transfer of employees into or out of IBM in conjunction with outsourcing and divestiture deals.
• Led the HR workstream for a time-sensitive project requiring the creation of new subsidiaries in 13 African countries. Co-ordinated global HR teams in the development of HR policies and infrastructure for each country.
• Led and co-led the HR workstreams for several global divestitures. Took on the global leadership role in addition to the European role for the sale of a business unit with 30,000 employees. Successfully collaborated.
• Led the HR workstream for several multi-country and domestic outsourcing deals with IBM clients. Negotiated with local HR and legal teams to achieve maximum flexibility and business benefit while complying fully with.

Dublin

• Co-ordinated the Europe-wide cross-functional workstreams of several global divestitures, involving up to 30 countries. Devised a matrix-management structure of 10-15 functional workstreams at Europe and country level..
• Acted as line manager of the largest component of Global Business Services in Ireland, which had grown very quickly through outsourcing deals. Inducted and forged a team of new first-line managers and employees.
• Acted as Risk Manager for the business – assembled, assessed and published key metrics on all ongoing commercial projects, focusing on any areas of exposure or dissatisfaction and conducted “deep dives” into selected.
• Led and/or participated in several client engagements. Assessed the entire systems portfolio for a large Financial Services client in terms of cost vs value-add, retain / enhance / replace decisions, potential for.
